Attention Residents
Municipal and Public Works Offices Closed for the Canada Day holiday.
Please note that Municipal and Public Works offices will be CLOSED on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, in observance of Canada Day.
As a result, garbage and recycling pickup has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025. This includes the Public Works trailer normally stationed at the municipal dock from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Both Offices will reopen on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025.

Bar-B-Q – 12 pm. until 3 pm.
- Join us at the Killarney Community Centre at 58 Charles Street for complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, and beverages.
- Piper Ceremony, Words from the Mayor and Cake at 12:00 noon.
- Kids bouncy house will be up from 11am - 3pm.
- Face Painting and kids games for everyone to enjoy!
- We kindly ask that you leave dogs at home.
Fireworks Show approximately 10:15pm.
- Fireworks can be viewed from the St. Joseph’s School.
- Baseball field on Stanley Street in Killarney Village.
- You may want to bring a chair and bug spray

Killarney Housing Need and Demand Survey
The Municipality of Killarney has commissioned Harriman & Associate to explore an independent housing initiative.
The team is currently working on facility programming to include items such as; Number of Suites, Building Layout, Amenities and Rental Rates.
The Municipality has identified several possible sites within the urban area of the Municipality that are suitable for future development.
It is anticipated that the preliminary investigation and design will commence during 2025 with possible construction in 2026 with occupancy scheduled for Fall of 2026.
To ensure the development meets the community's needs, we are seeking feedback from residents. Your input is essential for shaping a housing project that reflects the preferences and requirements of Killarney’s residents. Please take a moment to complete the survey at your earliest convenience.
